The Virtual Private Database packages/tables are stored into a new schema and include grants to the CMS owner schema for executing and reading them.

Obviously a sensitive information such as the password is not granted to the cms owner for security reason. User only can check for the validity of an specific user/password combination through a database procedure.

The owner schema which contains the CMS assets creates sinonyms to the packages and tables stored into the VPD schema.
