XML Database Oriented CMS
CMS was based on the Oracle CMS but replacing the html technology by XML, and is an example of how to make applications with DBPrism / Cocoon. To find more information about Oracle CMS please refer to the Oracle white paper at the Oracle technology Network web site.
Simple
key features of DBPrism CMS are included into 1643 lines of Java code which runs as Oracle Java Stored Procedure plus 1422 lines for the frontend application. Unlike other CMS systems such as Open CMS or Oracle's iFS, DBPrism is very simple.
Powerful
DBPrism CMS takes the best key technologies to provide powerful functionality, for example, xml indexing from Oracle interMedia Text (TM), versioning and concurrency control provides by the database, portal content aggregation like My Yahoo (TM) functionality from Cocoon, and so on. DBPrism CMS is compliant to Apache document-v10.dtd with two important additions, SVG images and partial XForms tags.
